While anxiety is caused by many different factors, one common cause of anxiety is the lack of being prepared. Think about going away on a vacation and trying to prepare. You make a physical or mental check list of all you need to bring along or arrange in your absence. Or think about getting ready for the arrival of a new baby and all the items and necessities required for their care. When you have a homework assignment or work project that needs investigation, review and/or writing time, you take the steps to complete the project. All of these are examples of preparing. While it is also fun and exciting to do things on a whim, most things in life require you to be prepared on some level.
When we do not prepare and cut our time short, we experience anxiety. The anxiety can have an impact on how well we perform our job or task. Rather than rush through or rush on or rush to, we can save ourselves the agony of anxiety by preparing ourselves for the future.
Life throws unexpected challenges and opportunities at us all the time. Therefore, we can never prepare for everything in our lives. Furthermore, we all benefit from a little spontaneity. In general though, your likelihood for a successful outcome will be greater if you are prepared.
May you prepared for the tasks and goals along your path!
