When I was in third grade, my teacher said that the older you get the faster the time goes by.  I thought she was crazy, time is time.  I was wrong, she was right.  Time seems to fly by now and is seems with a blink of an eye I went from being in college myself to having children in college!

My time is pretty valuable as it is spread thin between my own business, being an elected official, commitments in several organizations, bible study, my family …  I know I am not alone in feeling the pressure of time.  I also know some manage their time better that others.   When we let our commitments overrun our life, we become overwhelmed.  And that should be our cue to reassess.

In some countries there are requirements to go on vacation or “holiday.”  In the US we consider vacations a luxury.  Whether you travel or not, we all need a break “in time” to rejuvenate and refresh ourselves.   On a smaller scale we also need time to relax at the end of each day and each week.  We need to “take” that time.

Consider time as a gift in your life.  Use it wisely.  Use it to make your life better.  Use it as a gift to others.

May your path have enough time in it to enjoy life!
