When we are confronted with a challenging situation, the most common reaction is to figure out an outcome. This also typically involves a dose of worry. Worry though serves little purpose. It is wasted time. Focusing on a solution, of course, is productive but sometimes the solution just isn’t visible or the solution is to let go of the hold you have on the challenge. Worry does not provide answers but rather keeps you stuck from moving on!
Worry about the past causes depression. And you can’t change the past!
Worry about the future causes anxiety. And you don’t know what the future holds, nor can you even imagine all the possibilities.
Instead of letting worry take a hold of you, try focusing on the present. What is right in front of you? Get busy with that instead!
When on your path and confronted with worry, step over it and move on!
