When you hear the word “STRONG”, do you think of a body builder, whose physique is muscular, or do you think of the inner strength of a warrior, whose mental focus is a force to be acknowledged?  I believe they both conjure an image of determination; pushing both the physical and the mental components of a person.

While we can see the outside efforts of a person who is building body strength, the inner-strength of a person is often not visible.  What they have in common is that both the visible and invisible strength often comes from working through pain and suffering.  It is a drive and determination to go beyond our perceived limits.

So often in life we go inward when we encounter tragedy, pain or suffering.  We hide inside because we think the world wants us to be strong.  We put that “happy” face on for others to view, but internally we strive for the happiness we show others.  From that very perseverance though we are learning we can rely on ourselves, we can overcome, we can survive and even thrive.

It is going through this type of experience that we realize that we do, indeed, have a super power strength.  We may not have wanted the challenge, we may not have believed we could endure, but when faced with the challenge, our inner strength awakens.  Don’t doubt that it is there!  Let it guide you through!

May your inner-strength be your guide along the path of life.
