We make choices every day about numerous things, many of which we are not even aware of making.  While stopped in traffic, do you let the person coming out of a parking lot enter in front of you; do you bend and pick up the paper your co-worker dropped; do you smile at the stranger walking on the sidewalk; do you say please and thank you when appropriate?  The choices we make toward showing “goodness” to others is beneficial to both ourselves as well as others.  Often they take little effort.

I think people are innately good and pursue goodness.  Life has hardened some though, whether because of their cultural environment, socioeconomic factors, little kindness shown to them, or other environmental factors.  Innately though I believe we want to act out of goodness for ourselves and others.  Think about the last time you did  something nice for someone else.  How did you feel afterwards?  Usually it will bring a smile to our face and warm our heart.  The end result is by doing good, we are allowing ourselves to feel the goodness!  What a wonderful world it would be if we all acted out of goodness.

With a kind heart and mindset of being and doing good, we help frame the world around us.  So choose good for goodness sake!

May you find goodness and share it with others along your path!
